According to the Ayurveda wisdom tradition, “nasya” (oil in the nostrils) can be used to improve respiration, brain function, concentration, awareness, and mental calmness, and enhance the practice of breathing exercises (pranayama). This special formula for all body types (Tri-Doshic) improves the quality of sleep and promotes balance of the two sides of the brain and the subtle sun and moon energy channels known as (nadis).

Serving Size & Use:
Best to lay flat on your back, tilt the head back slightly, and administer 2-4 drops in each nostril while inhaling, followed by a massage of the nose. Stay in a lying position for 1-2 minutes to allow the oil to coat the walls of the nasal cavity and reach the subtle nerve channels in this area. Repeat on the other side. Mas and his team of Ayurvedic pharmacologists in India designed this oil for yogis who perform pranayama (breathing exercises) regularly to avoid dryness of the nasal cavity and enhance the pranification throughout the entire body, and brain, and expand the mind.
Suggestions for Use: For those needing to cleanse the nasal passages of excess mucus, dust debris, prevent nasal infections, and gain protection from viruses, we recommend laying down and applying 1-2 drops in each nostril. This can be done 3-4x’s per week for good results. For more gentle lubrication apply a few drops to your pinky finger massage each nostril and then repeat for the other nostril. Once both nostrils have been lubricated, pinch and massage both nostrils and enjoy the benefits. Ayurveda does not recommend the use of nasal oil after bathing or if one is experiencing a flu or cold.
