Handmade in Sonoma County, California, these durable, stoneware neti pots are available in 3 beautiful colors. Each kit has everything you need to start on a nasal rinsing program – a handcrafted ceramic neti pot in the color of your choice, *2 oz of French Atlantic Mineral Salt Rinse, and an instructional card.
*This means you do not need to order any additional salt as this product provides a small 2oz bag which should be enough to get you started for about 30-60 days depending on the frequency of use.

ABOUT THE SALT RINSE
Most neti salts are stripped down sodium chloride buffered with baking soda to prevent nasal irritation. Our salt rinse is pure, unrefined French Atlantic Sea Salt, hand-harvested from the coast of Brittany, France. The high mineral content facilitates the breakdown of mucus and eliminates the need for buffering. A comfortable rinse without unnecessary fillers and buffers!

Nasal rinsing has been proven very effective for flushing out the sinuses: clearing bacteria, congestion, and infections.
HOW OFTEN TO USE
This all depends much on your constitution or dosha type. For maintenance: Some people benefit from rinsing daily and others use it as needed. However, the morning time is the best time as this is the kapha (phlegm) time of the day.
For colds and allergies: Rinsing 1-2 times a day can be helpful to flush out infection or pollen. Ideally, you should use the Pranify Nasal oil after flushing with the neti cup. In yoga, the neti cup and nasal oil are ideal to do before the practice of pranayama (breathing techniques) or before meditation to enhance depth and stillness.
HOW TO USE
For maintenance: Mix a heaping ½ teaspoon of Baraka French Atlantic Salt Rinse with 8-10oz of warm spring or distilled water.
