Shatavari as the main ingredient in the Goddess Ghee is beneficial for women’s health in general and provides specific support for fertility, hormone balance, and digestion. Goddess Ghee has a sharp and delightful taste and goes well with most dishes. Shatavari is one of the great rejuvenative herbs in Ayurveda and is beneficial in reducing both vata (air) and pitta (fire) related issues. When shatavari is combined with ghee it creates a powerful and highly nutritious food that promotes energy (ojas) and the power (shakti) of the Goddess. The word shatavari speaks of its own power to be fertile and alive as it literally means to have 100 spouses. The name of our Goddess Ghee product is a tribute to the cow Lakshmi, the close friend, and companion of the great South Indian sage Ramana Maharshi. Lakshmi lived at the Ramanashram in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India.
